Armin van Buuren and Nicky Romero have teamed up to unleash a massive song called ‘I Need You To Know’ featuring ifimay. This long-awaited collaboration is out now on Armada Music and Protocol Recordings. Yesterday, Nicky Romero Published the Lyrical Video.
Here comes on the heels of "I Need You To Know," a collaboration with fellow Dutch icon Armin van Buuren that dropped via Armada on July 10. Romero's own label, Protocol Recordings, also celebrated its 200th release this summer. Indeed, in a moment where many DJs -- and many of us in general -- have enjoyed more downtime than usual, Romero has kept busy, but has still found time for beach hangs and BBQs.
I Need You To Know’ perfectly combines the two signature styles of Nicky and Armin. And the result? A harmonic, progressive house track, that will definitely be one of the hottest releases of this summer. In its all majesty the track features mesmerising, uplifting vocals, progressive builds, the typical Armin kick, and bright melodies, which Nicky is mostly known for. It is a nice mixture of big room and progressive house, which results in a festival-ready track, which we’ll hopefully soon be able to enjoy on the dance floors all around the world. The two dutch dance music icons have been great friends and close colleagues for many years. They have never released an official song together until now. Last year, Nicky Romero made a remix for Armin van Buuren’s ‘Unlove You’.
